What treatment costs here, and how insurance works.

Most practices publish what they treat. Fewer publish what it costs.
Cost is one of the first things people want to know, and one of the last things anyone puts in writing. So here it is, in writing.

INSURANCE

We are a private pay practice

We are not in network with any insurance plan, including Medicare, Medicaid and AHCCCS.
That is a deliberate choice. It lets us set session length by what the work needs, not by what a plan will authorize, and it keeps treatment decisions between you and your clinician.
Using out-of-network benefits
  • 1
Pay us directly for your visit.
  • 2
Ask us for a superbill, an itemized receipt with the codes your insurer needs.
  • 3
Submit it to your carrier yourself.

KETAMINE-ASSISTED PSYCHOTHERAPY

What ketamine-assisted psychotherapy costs
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy is not a single appointment. A course of treatment includes preparation sessions, the medicine sessions themselves with a clinician present throughout, and integration work afterward.
Pricing reflects that structure rather than a charge per dose.

WHY IT WORKS THIS WAY

What you are actually paying for

Many ketamine providers administer a dose and leave the patient alone. We don't. A licensed psychiatric provider stays with you for the entire session, and every clinician here is trained in both psychiatry and trauma work: Somatic Experiencing®, Internal Family Systems, attachment repair, Deep Brain Reorienting.
That combination brings together two disciplines that otherwise sit in two buildings, holding them in one room.
You are not paying for medicine. You are paying for an immersive treatment.

PRACTICAL

Scheduling and cancellations

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice to change or cancel an appointment. Cancellations within that window are charged the full session fee, because the appointment time is held for you.

Questions

What People Ask Us First

Does insurance cover ketamine therapy?

Usually not as a package. Ketamine used for depression, PTSD, anxiety, OCD, and bipolar disorder is an off-label treatment, and insurers generally do not reimburse off-label use. Some plans do reimburse part of the psychiatric care around it under out-of-network benefits. We provide a superbill on request so you can submit it and find out. Reimbursement depends on your plan and is not guaranteed.

Do you take Medicare, Medicaid or AHCCCS?

No. We are not in network with any insurance plan, including Medicare, Medicaid and AHCCCS. You can still be seen here as a private pay patient, and we will provide a superbill if your plan has out-of-network benefits worth submitting against.

What is a superbill and what do I do with it?

It is an itemized receipt carrying the diagnostic and procedure codes your insurer needs. You pay us directly, then submit the superbill to your carrier yourself, and they reimburse you if your plan has out-of-network benefits. We provide it by request.

Can I find out what this will cost before I book?

Yes. Ask us for a Good Faith Estimate of your expected costs before scheduling anything. It is your right under federal law for anyone not billing through insurance, and we would rather you had it.
