Most people carry this privately. Here, others already understand.

Why group therapy for trauma reaches different places

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy may help people reach emotions and insights that are hard to access through talk therapy alone. A group adds what individual work can't: the presence of people who have lived something close to what you have.

The psychiatric side and the trauma work stay inside one plan, held by a team trained across both, rather than split between a prescriber and a therapist who never compare notes.

Scottsdale, Arizona

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy is an off-label use of ketamine. It is not FDA approved for these purposes and it is not right for everyone. The medical evaluation decides whether a group is appropriate for you.

Questions

What people ask about our groups

Is this a support group?

No. These are structured clinical programs that include a medical evaluation, preparation, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy sessions and integration. A free peer support group is a different kind of resource, and it can be a good one to have alongside this work.

Is there an evaluation before joining a group?

Yes. Every group program includes a medical evaluation, and every client completes a psychiatric assessment before any ketamine session to determine whether treatment is appropriate and medically safe.

How many people are in a group?

Groups are small. The current program is limited to six participants.

What does a group cost?

Program details, dates and investment are listed on each group's own page. You can also call us to ask about an upcoming group.

Who can join?

Our groups are for adults 18 and older. Each group is built around a specific shared experience, so its page describes who it's designed for.
